The Invicta Rex Games crew is incredibly excited and grateful for your support in making Song for War a smashing success, reaching 406 backers and 145% funded! A huge thank you to all.
We're well underway on the next steps around manufacturing and fulfillment and will keep you updated in the coming weeks and months. We've also been busy on the design of both of the unlocked stretch goals: the 5 additional 30-60 minute scenarios as well as the 6-player commander expansion. And lest we forget, we're starting work on the solo player bot that will be available as a print-and-play when the game is shipped in Summer 2026. If you happen to be attending the Origins Game Fair in Columbus in June 2025 (right around the corner), stop by and say hello! We will be set up and running Song for War Italy and North Africa games in the gamers hall every day of the conference. SOLO BOT EXPANSION | Stretch Goal Update!

Hi team!
The campaign is going strong and Song for War continues to make progress! Invicta Rex Games has also been keeping a close eye on the comments about the stretch goal for the solo bot expansion. We hear you, and we have some good news!
If the campaign does not reach the $36k stretch goal, we will design the solo bot anyway and publish it as a separate print and play expansion on the invictarex.com web site. We will target having the print and play ready in June of 2026 - which is the same estimated delivery date of the game. This creates a win-win: Interested backers receive the solo bot expansion, while keeping production costs level for Invicta Rex Games in the event we do not reach the $36k stretch goal. Of course, if the campaign successfully hits the $36k stretch goal, the solo bot expansion will be included in the core reward.

First Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Congratulations!
Just two days after funding, and we've already unlocked our first stretch goal!
This will add several short (30-60 min.) scenarios to both the Operations and Theater versions of the game.
With 18 days remaining in the campaign, there's still plenty of time to unlock the rest of the goals.
